Recovery of the SHEconomy

Prior to the pandemic, women made great economic strides in the last 30 years. More women were in the labor market and earning higher wages. In 2020, this progress came to a halt with COVID-19.

A recent Morgan Stanley article offers a look at the path back for women in the workplace including:

• Increased wages in sectors that traditionally hire women such as childcare and hospitality

• More equal representation of women and people of color at all levels in organizations
